Laura Ferrell, born August 12, 1904, departed this life August 15, 1977 at the age of 73 years and 3 days.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ferrell, in 1976. She is survived by 4 daughters, Rose Lee Green, Joyce McGinnis, Mabel Collins and Barbara Ferguson; 4 sons, Carl, Clarence, Jack and Robert; 32 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Slate Hill Primitive Baptist Church.
She was sick for many years. She went to church as long as she was able.
She is missed by all. Our loss is Heaven's gain. We will meet on Heaven's bright shore.
