Charles H. Ferrell was born November 14, 1896 and departed this life August 20, 1976.
He professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Beech Grove Baptist Church. He later joined Hickory Cove Baptist Church in Hawkins County, Tennessee. He then joined Slate Hill Primitive Baptist Church where he remained a member until death.
He was married to Lora Minor December 25, 1922. To this union were born 4 daughters, Rosalee, Mabel, Joyce and Barbara; 5 sons, Carl, Clarence, Jack, Robert and Joe, who preceded him in death. He leaves a brother, John, 1 sister, Maude Church, and a host of grandchildren, friends and loved ones.
