Mrs. Hartman, who was a member of the Church of the Brethren for a number of years, had a wide circle of relatives and friends.
Surviving besides her husband, are four sons and two daughters; William Hartman of Weyers Cave; Frank Hartman of New Hope; Bernard, Starless and Erasmus Hartman, all of Staunton; Mrs. Jane Peters, and Miss Gertie Hartman.
Surviving also are four sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Frank Kyger, of Goods Mill; Mrs. Peter Craun, of Port Republic; Miss Kate Showalter, of Kansas; Mrs. Mattie Little, of Woodstock; and Erasmus and Charles Showalter, both of Indiana.
Mrs. Hartman was about seventy-five years of age.
