Doing CLAP/CLAPP research. I found Esther (Newland) Lincoln to be a daughter of Amos Newland and "Easther" Esther Finney (Briggs) of Norton, MA and maternal granddaughter of Phineas Briggs and Esther (Finney) of Norton, MA. Esther and Gen. Thomas Lincoln had numerous children, including: a daughter Esther Lincoln, b.1787, Taunton, who married her cousin George Clapp, b.1789, Norton, MA, who was a son of Capt. David Clapp and Hannah (King) of Norton; and a son Amos Lincoln, b.1789, Taunton, MA, a namesake of his maternal grandfather.
