I guess it is hard to be sure, but I believe this Eleanor Evans to be the sister
of the famous David Rittenhouse.

The information I know of Eleanor is:
Eleanor Rittenhouse Evans (1736 Germantown-1809 or so in Trappe).
I cannot find the exact date of death to match it up with the grave. She married
Daniel Evans in 1763 and he died around 1790.
They had children David d. 1836 in Pittsburgh, Benjamin d. 1837 in Chester Co.,
Joseph, Matthias d. 1834 Pittsburgh, Hannah Evans Smith d. 1816 in Trappe, and
Elizabeth Evans Armstrong 1767-1802

Eleanor Evans would not have been a totally uncommon name, but I do know her
family had ties to this particular cemetery and other Rittenhouses are buried
there. So while I can't be 100% sure I am 90% sure she is the same Eleanor Evans
as the sister of David Rittenhouse who died in 1809 in Trappe which isn't that
far from this cemetery either.
