Wellington - Earl J. Hahn, 91, retired farmer, died Saturday, January 31, 1987. Service 1:30 p.m. today, First Christian Church.

Survivors: wife, Myrl; son Raymond of Crescent City, Calif.; daughters, Caralee White of Towanda, Betty Skinnell of Phoenix; stepsons, Lavern Norris of Clovis, N.M., Gerald Norris of Wellington; stepdaughter, Doris Arnett of Wichita; sister, Clara Getz of Shattuck, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the Wellington Food Bank. Hawks Funeral Home.

Earl J. Hahn

Earl J. Hahn died Saturday morning at the Wellington Hospital. He was 91.

Hahn was a farmer in Sumner County for many years before moving to Wellington in October 1963.

He was born February 16, 1895 near Oxford, the son of Charlie and Nellie Howell Hahn. He married Gertrude Bonnewell, then on July 7, 1934 he married Sadie Dunnihoo and she preceded him in death in December 1977. He then married Myrl Miller Norris on March 31, 1979 at Wellington.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Wellington. Survivors include his wife Myrl, of the home; one son, Raymond Hahn of Crescent City, Calif.; two daughters, Caralee White of Towanda and Betty Skinnell of Phoenix, Ariz.; two step sons, Lavern Norris, of Clovis, New Mexico, and Gerald Morris of Wellington; one step daughter, Doris Arnett, of Wichita; one sister, Clara Getz, of Shattuck, Okla.; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen step grandchildren; and many greatgrandchildren and great greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harold; one step son William H. Morris; one brother, Lloyd; one sister, Sarah; and one step grandchild.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tommorrow at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oxford cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Food Bank. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the funeral home this evening until 9:30 and till 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
