MRS. NOLA MILLER TULLOS

The community was shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Mrs. Nola Miller Tullos, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Voyd Taylor, on January 26, 1961, following a heart attack. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Tullos was born in Georgia on Dec. 9, 1878 and was the widow of the late Willie Tullos. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a kind, Christian mother, loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at Nebo Church on Jan. 28, 1961, at 1 p. m. The Rev. Bryant, the Rev. Fairchild and the Rev. Howard Taylor officiated. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were her grandsons, the Rev; Howard Taylor, William Taylor, V. A. Taylor, Edward Philley, J. C. Sowell, and John Kilpatrick.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Voyd Taylor, Eupora, and Mrs. Claudia Philley, Kilbourne. La.; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Bobo, Eupora, and Mrs. Evie Walker, Ackerman; three brothers, J. K. Miller, Eupora; Fletcher Miller Mobile, Ala., and R. A. Miller, El Paso, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
