Ernest was the son of Philip Neidlinger and Minnie C. Englehart. He was married to Ada Payne on 29 May 1901 in Clay county, IN.

Former Center Point Man Dies Very Suddenly

Ernest Neidlinger, formerly of Center Point, died very suddenly last evening of a heart attack at his home near Clinton at the age of 57 years. Mr. Neidlinger was born at Center Point and his early life was spent in that community. Later he located at Clinton where he had been employed in the coal mines. The deceased was well known in Braziland leaves many friends in this community.

He is survived by the widow, four sons and three daughters, George, Marion, and Russell of Fairbanks, Ind.; Kenneth, at home; Mrs. Alvira Thompson of Detroit; Mrs, Oveda Whitted of Princeton, Ind,; and Mrs. Minnie Johnson of Fairview, Ind. He is also survived by the mother, Mrs. George Brooks of Center Point; two brothers and two sisters, Jacob Neidlinger, of West Terre Haute; Henry Neidlinger, city; Miss Bertha Neidlinger of Center Point, and Mrs. C. W. Damm, city; also, three half-brothers and a half-sister, Earl and George Brooks of Center Point; Ivan Brooks and Mrs. Mamie Williams of Chicago.
