Ada Payne was the daughter of George W. and Marie Payne. She was born in the small town of Diamond, IN. She was married to Ernest Neidlinger on 29 May 1901 in Clay county, IN.

Mrs. Ada P. Neidlinger

The oldest member of the Princeton Eagles Auxiliary, Mrs. Ada P. Neidlinger, passed away Friday morning. She was 96. Mrs. Neidlinger was given a plaque last fall by Eagles 361 honoring her as being the oldest auxiliary member. She had been an active member of both the Eagles and Moose lodges for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Princeton Christian Church.

She was born in Diamond, Ind. Sept 4, 1883 and married Ernest Neidlinger, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Oveda (Bobbie) Whitted, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Alvira Thompson, both of Princeton, and Mrs. Minnie Johnson, Portage, Ind; one son, Marion, Green Bay, Wis., 20 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Mrs. Neidlinger died at 5:50 a.m. at Gibson General Hospital following four weeks' illness. Services are at 10 a.m. today at Kendall Funeral Home. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Clinton, Ind.
