ALTON -- Funeral services were held Saturday for Albert Mayrose, 64, who died of a heart attack Thursday. Services were held at St. Mary's church in Alton.

He was born Sept. 17, 1895 near Oyens and was married to Mathidla Kunkel on Jan. 15, 1918. He farmed in the Oyens and Remsen vicinity all his life.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Cecil and Lawrence, both of Alton; and three daughters, Mrs. Bernard Pottebaum of Le Mars, Mrs. Donald Servold of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. William Kautski of Des Moines.

ALBERT MAYROSE RITES AT ALTON ST. MARY'S

Funeral services for Albert Mayrose, 64, Remsen farmer who died unexpectedly of a heart attack Thursday, were at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church at Alton, Ia. Rev. Nicholas Becker of Granville, Ia. officiated and burial was at Alton.

Mr. Mayrose died in the office of a Remsen physician where he had gone for a physical checkup.

He was born Sept. 17, 1895 near Oyens, Ia. He married Mathilda Kunkel January 15, 1918. They farmed near Oyens until moving to a farm north of Remsen in 1948.

Survivors include the widow: two sons, Cecil and Lawrence, both of Alton; three daughters, Mrs. Bernard Pottebaum of Le Mars, Ia.; Mrs. Donald Servold of Sioux Falls. and Mrs. William Kaulski of Des Moines; three brothers, Isadore of Remsen and Adolph and Edward, both of Le Mars, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Costello of Sioux City.
