MACON - Funeral services for Elijah Woodford will be held at 11A.M. Saturday, June 13, 2009. Burial will be held at 11A.M. Monday, June 15, 2009 in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
Mr. Woodford, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtice Pearson Woodford; nine children, Janice (Michael) Kelly, Cynthian (Kedrick) Hartfield, Virdette Otkins, Lisa Lopez, Otis Bonds, Daphne Hale, LaVell Barnett, Kathy Ford and Shelia Ford; four sisters, Mattie Price, Dorothy (John) Hunt, Mildred (Donald) Frith and Willie Pearl (Al) Freeman; brothers, Willie Woodford, Johnny (Wilma) Cleveland and Bobby Woodford; twenty-three grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
