Elvira Catherine Bankhead Baugh, 95, Utah pioneer and Wellsville's oldest resident, died here in Wellsville on Friday April 1, 1955 of causes incident to age. She was born October 27th, 1859, at Three-Mile Creek, now Perry, Box Elder County. Daughter of John Henderson and Nancy Crosby Bankhead. Married to John Sutcliff Baugh on March 1, 1883 in the Salt Lake LDS Endowment House. He died August 21, 1927.

Surviving: one daughter Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Hendry, Wellsville; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild. Funeral was on Monday September 5th at 1 pm in the Wellsville Second LDS ward. Burial was in the Wellsville City Cemetery.
