Word has been received from Ogden, Utah, that Taylor Crow, a former resident of Adair county, and a member of the well known Crow family in this county, died there Wednesday. The body is to be brought back to Adair county and the funeral will be held at the Fort Madison church.

OBITUARY

Russell Taylor Crow was born in eastern Tennessee, March 14, 1847. In early manhood he moved to Adair County, Missouri, where he met Sarah Elizabeth Stewart to whom he was married August 19, 1866.

To this union were born five daughters and six sons all of whom are living. Besides these children he leaves to mourn his passing, two sisters and five brothers, several grand children and a host of friends. His wife having preceded him to the Great Beyond some six years.

Early in his married life he became a Christian, uniting with the M. E. Church South, of which church he was a faithful member at the time of his death.

He died at the home of his daughter, Della Stone, in Ogden, Utah, October 22, 1919. Aged 72 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Mr. Crow was for many years a very active and successful farmer and stock man of Adair County, Mo., where he has many friends, for all who knew him were glad to call him "friend." Though always a very busy man his neighbors say on him: "He was never too busy to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need."

A loving husband, a kind and indulgent father, a worthy neighbor, a faithful friend, has gone to his eternal home.

Funeral services were held in the Ft. Madison Church conducted by P. M. Lind of Queen City, Mo., October 29, 1919. Interment in the Ft. Madison cemetery.

The children surviving him are:

Willis Crow, Kirksville; A. M. Crow, Willmathsville; H. M. Crow, Wells, Nev.; C. A. Crow, Pierre S. D.; Leo Allen Crow, Pierre, S. D.; Anna Holland, Greentop; Liddie Walker, Pierre, S. D.; Elsie Whiteside, Greentop; Lavenia Drake, Wells, Nev.; Norah Pacarcha, Yankton, S. D., and Della Stone, Ogden, Utah.
