Sylvan Cisco "Bud", age 87, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009 in Peoria.
Survived by his sons, Robert (Lynn) Cisco and Tom Cisco (girlfriend Kelly); two grandchildren, William and Mia Cisco; canine companion, Cody.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fulton and Annie (nee Bradford) Cisco; wife, Jane (nee Turner) Cisco.
Sylvan was an US Army Veteran and served in New Guinea during WWII where he was awarded The Bronze Star for valor. Bud enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He will be deeply missed.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joliet Hospice; 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
