Mrs. McLain was the widow of the late J. Andrew McLain, a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church and a native of Winn Parish.
Survivors include two sons, Harrison McLain of Atlanta and Richard McLain of Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. C. O. Shaw of Montgomery, Mrs. Odelle Smith of Pineville, Mrs. Frank Barton of Winnfield; five brothers, Ranel Brady of Atlanta, Alan [sic Alon] Brady of Winnfield, Allen Brady and Roy Brady of Gibson; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Avant of Verda, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mars Hill Baptist Church, with Revs. Ray Teal and C. W. Jones officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
