WINNFIELD — Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today for Barney Ranel Brady Sr., 81, of Atlanta, at Sardis Baptist Church with the Revs. E. E. Barton and J. C. Skinner officiating.

Burial was to be in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home here.

Mr. Brady died Sunday at Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ella Brady of Atlanta; three sons, John Brady of Springhill, Lanel Brady of Winnfield and Elton [sic Delton] Brady of Jena; four brothers, Mrs. Marie Barnes, Mrs. Lucille Moore of Atlanta, Mrs. Hazel McDonald of Pensacola, Fla. and Mrs. Ray Nell Andrews of Hanna, Germany; four brothers, Allen Brady, Roy Brady, both of Verda, Levell Brady of Gibson, and John A. Brady of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Lois Avant of Verda; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
