LAIL INFANT'S FUNERAL SERVICES HELD IN ALEX

Shala Darlene Lail, four-day old daughter of Gaither Lee and Etta Harrison Lail of Route One, Taylorsville, died in a Winston-Salem hospital at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday.
She was born in a Hickory hospital, and transferred to Winston-Salem Sunday.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the residence with the Rev. Samuel Harris officiating. Burial was in Isaac Creek Church of God cemetery. Hickory Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
In addition to the parents, survives include three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Fox of Claremont, Mrs. Bessie Holland of Route One, Taylorsville, and Miss Doris Ann Lail of the home; six brothers, Eugene, Donald, James, Gary, Larry and Gwyn, all of the home; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Lail of Route One, Granite Falls.


According to the family, Shelia was buried at this church and when the church expanded they built over her grave.
