Primitive Methodist Minister. Charles KENDALL was one of eleven children born to Thomas and Fanny KENDALL nee DENNIS. Charles became a Primitive Methodist Preacher in 1839, he worked tirelessly, he raised money to have many chapels erected, wrote several biographies of deceased Ministers as well as other religious works. He attained the churches highest office in 1881, when he was elected President of the conference, however he died in 1882 during in his term [the only President to do so] He is the father of Holliday Bickerstaffe KENDALL, his only child who also attained the post of President.
