Benjamin White, a retired farmer, of Poolesville, died Saturday night; aged 81 years, of pneumonia. He was known throughout Montgomery county and in Loudoun county, Virginia. He was a brother of the late Maj. Elijah V. White, colonel of the Thirty-fifth Virginia Cavalry, Confederate States Army, who died four weeks ago at his home in Leesburg. Mr. White is survived by three sons at home; Dr. Elijah White, Harvey, and Benjamin and two daughters, Mrs. Ball and Mrs. Honore M. Claggett, of Brunswick, Frederick county.
