SHEFFIELD — David H. Stone, 86, died in the Rouse Home in Youngsville at 9:45 p. m. March 2, 1963. He had been in failing health for the past year.
Mr. Stone was born on Nov. 29, 1876 in Sigel, Jefferson County, and formerly lived at 16 Fifth Ave. west, in Warren. Previous to that time, he had been a resident of Sheffield. He had been employed as a lumberman by different mills throughout the area.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ne,, E. Smith of Buffalo, N. Y.; 10 step-daughters; two brothers. Frank Stone of Bakersfield, Calif., and Earl Stone in Texas; also four great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Jack Parsons of First Methodist Church in Sheffield officiating. Burial will follow in Sheffield Cemetery.[Warren Times Mirror, Page 8, Sheffield, Warren, Pennsylvania, March 4, 1963.]
