Died at 12:01 p.m. Saturday at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 79 years old, native of Atlanta, La., and a resident of 3002 East Mason St., Baton Rouge. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home. First services at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Rev. T. W. Terrell officiating. Another service to follow at the Sardis Baptist Church in Sardis near Winnfield at 2:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. H. J. Mott officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, C. T. and E. L. Edwards, both of Baton Rouge, J. P. Edwards of Battle Creek, Mich., and H. P. Edwards of Denham Springs; two daughters, Mrs. C. G. (Ollie) Neal of Bastrop and Mrs. G. W. (Maybell) Appling of Port Arthur, Tex.; three brothers, W. L. Silman of West Monroe, Ben Silman of Fontaine, Fla., and Joe Silman of Dallas, Tex.; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
