WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Benjamin F. Silman, 80, of Winnsboro were held at 9 a.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery at Liddieville.

Mr. Silman was a native of Winn Parish, a member of Sardis Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two brothers, Willis L. Silman of Winnsboro; Joe Silman of Dallas, Tex.; and a half-brother, David Silman of Urania.
