Funeral services for Mrs. Dallie Fizer, killed in an automobile collision sixteen miles from Tyler on the Kilgore highway late Saturday night, were held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Edom Methodist Church, with Rev. J.E. White, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Edom cemetery.
Mrs. Fizer and William Lex Magee, both of Tyler were killed and nine persons were injured at about 11 p.m. Saturday when their car and a truck driven by Richman Pal, met head-on on the highway.
Mrs. Fizer, 29, lived at 737 South College, Tyler and was a dress maker. Born in Smith county, she had lived in Tyler for six years. She is survived by a daughter, Marcet Fizer of Tyler; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Dike of Edom; four brothers, Curtis Dike of Edom; Ray Dike of Canton and Bernis and R. Lee Dike, both of Tyler; and two sisters, Mrs. R.T. Stringer of Edom and Miss Merline Dike of Tyler. She was a niece of Mrs. I.T. Fulgham of Brownsboro.
