Helen Verna Christensen Hemming, 84, Blackfoot, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born February 1, 1918, in Thomas, Idaho, to Hans C. and Katie Parsons Christensen. She attended schools in the Thomas area.
On December 24, 1937, she married Ray William Kesler. They had five children. Ray and Helen later divorced and in 1972 she married Dilworth Hammond. Following his death in 1982, she moved to Idaho Falls.
In 1983, she married Thomas Hemming, who also preceded her in death in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond, Milford and Merlin Christensen; her sisters, Bernice Harbaugh, Marge DeCosta and Marvel Delonzer, and two great grandsons.
Burial will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery under the direction of Hawker Hill Funeral Home.
