He is survived by his wife Madeline (Gallant) Gallant; a son Roland Arsenault; a daughter, Edna, wife of William McGregor; two brothers, John Gallant and Glorice Gallant of Prince Edward Island; four sisters, Lillian, wife of Benjamin LeClair, Mrs. Celia Olson, Mrs. Alice Fitzgerald and Mrs. Edna Twohig; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on the following Thursday from the M.A. Burke Memorial Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover with a high Mass of requiem in St. Augustine's Church, Andover at 9 a.m.
Burial was in the St. Augustine's Cemetery.
Friends were invited to call at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
