In 1910, San Pedro; Santiago E. Fresquez was enumerated with his parents José I. & Romana Fresquez and siblings: Lucadia, Melecio B., and Antonia Fresquez (1910 Census).

On 5 June 1917, Rio Arriba County; Santiago E. Fresquez (B: 23 May 1887, San Pedro), a resident of Española, registered for the World War I draft. He was described as slender, tall, black hair, and dark brown eyes. He was employed by the Denver Rio Grande Railroad in Española (Draft Card).

In 1920, San Pedro; Santiago Fresquez was enumerated with his wife Antonia (1920 Census).

In 1930, San Pedro; Santiago Fresquez and his wife Antonia were enumerated with children: Ramón, María, José, and Samuel Fresquez. It was also annotated that Santiago was a World War veteran (1930 Census).

On 26 Aug 1918, Santiago (Service #3-821-455) enlisted in the US Army. He served as a Private in Casual Company 85, 162nd Depot Brigade. On 5 Sep 1918, he was discharged. Headstone was to be placed in the Santa Cruz Catholic Cemetery (Headstone Application Card).
