Hannah is the daughter of Abraham Brown and Hannah, born in N.H., widow of Joseph Wheeler, per her baptism as an adult on 15 Oct. 1849 at Noyan, Missisquoi County, Quebec, Canada. Her husband Joseph Wheeler “late of Noyan” had died 11 Jan. 1846 in Noyan. Her father, Abraham Brown, farmer, died 10-20-1817 in Caldwell Manor, Quebec.
Familysearch.com had three family trees that show our Hannah Brown, born 14 August 1782 in N. H., died 9 Nov. 1850 in Quebec as a daughter of Abraham Brown and Catherine Bonaker. This couple being of German descent. All their other children are born in Rowan, North Carolina, the parents die in Vermillion, Illinois. There is no way that they had a daughter born in New Hampshire who moved to Quebec on her own, met Joseph Wheeler and raised a family there!
There are so many men named Abraham Brown, that I cannot find which one is indeed her father.
