Katie Rust- Rose
Katie came over from Germany on a boat when she was very young.
She married Russell Telford Rose October 26, 1917 in Glasgow, Montanta. They had 4 daughters and 1 son.

Katie owned a duplex at 10th & Hickory. She worked most of her life at Swift & Armour Warehouse with Bacon.

Grandma always loved Christmas and would have everyone to her home for Christmas. She would have something for everyone, no matter how small. She would work all year long making things by hand to give to her family. She collected salt & pepper shakers. She was a short woman with very thin hair. She had a hairpiece she wore at times when she would go out. She didn't have any hair growing on her legs.
Grandma loved flowers. She had flowers in her home and all around the outside too.
Grandma Rose had a bird and we would clean the cage and change the paper in the bottom of the cage.

Katie used to call Sharon Walker-Weese late at night and talk about spiritual things. She was doing a lot of soul searching according to Sharon in the last few years of her life. Sharon has Grandma Rose's bible. Sharon saw grandma's baptismal certificate one time. It was in German. Grandma told Sharon it was in German because they were German and couldn't write English very well when she was Baptized.
