CARROLL GLASS

Carroll "Kelly" Glass, 86, of 422 Fourth St., died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at St. Agnes Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.

He was born on Jan. 26, 1911, in Campbellsport, a son of Walter and Agatha Haesly Glass. On Sept. 10, 1938, he married Olive Schlaefer at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Campbellsport. They marked their golden wedding anniversary on Sept. 10, 1988, and enjoyed 58 years of marriage.

Mr. Glass was co-owner of Annen Brake Service until retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he served as an usher, a member of St. Vincent De Paul Society, Holy Name Society and was a Eucharist minister.

Survivors include his wife, Olive, four daughters, Lenore Janda and her husband Robert of Appleton, Lucille Nuss and her husband Bill Jr. of Ashland, Ohio, Mary Schils and her husband Paul of Fredonia and Jane Schumaker and her husband Michael of Milwaukee, two brothers, Walter "Shorty" Glass and his wife Alice of Los Angeles, Calif.; and the Rev. Roland Glass of Fond du Lac; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Twohig Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, and at 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Concelebrants will be the Rev. Roland Glass, the Rev. David Nuss and the Rev. Patrick Heppe. Burial will be at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery, Campbellsport.

Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. today at Twohig Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.

Memorials in his name may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fond du Lac.
