Margaret Welch, age 89, of 937 East Park Avenue died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at her residence.
She was born Dec. 21, 1915 in Youngstown, daughter of David and Elizabeth Filbert Keck.
She had lived in Columbiana for the last year, coming from New Waterford where she had lived most of her life.
Mrs. Welch had been an Inspector for the former Cherry Hill Furniture in Columbiana for 25 years, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the New Waterford Methodist Church and several organizations of the church.
Her husband, Earl Franklin Welch whom she married May 25, 1937, preceded her in death January 8, 1971.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Carole) Hoff of Salem; two grandson Christopher Hoff of Vienna, and Kyle Hoff of Alexandria, VA; and two great-granddaughters.
Two sisters, Helen Hiner and Elizabeth Grossen and two brothers, David and George Keck, preceded her in death.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Rambo officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
