Wilhelm, his wife Therese, and their children: Anna, Andreas, Adolf, Auguste, Heinrich and Ignnatz arrived in New York Harbor July 25, 1879 on the ship 'Oder' sailing from Bremen. Their youngest son Ferdinand is not listed with them on the passenger manifest nor is there any mention of him being born while aboard ship.
