Amy Elizabeth Morton, 26, of West Columbia went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2009. She was born April 9, 1983, in Freeport to Lance Kilsby and Marilyn Morton Goolsby. Amy was a lifetime resident of West Columbia.
She is survived by two children, Miranda Claire Morton Ramirez and Mason Alan Strother, both of West Columbia; mother, Marilyn Morton Goolsby of West Columbia; grandmother, Mary Ruth Kilsby of Brazoria; brothers, Brandon Kilsby of Alvin and Travis Griffin of Lake Jackson; sister, Maddison Griffin of West Columbia; aunts, Ginger Sims of West Columbia, Kathryn Morton of Houston, Barbara Moss and husband, Donn Moss, of Cleveland, Ohio, Lesa Kilsby Smith and husband, Mike, of Brazoria; uncle, Ty Kilsby of Brazoria; cousin, Kelly Sims of West Columbia; and several special friends, Misty Karr of West Columbia, Erynn Mosher Crosby of Memphis, Tennessee, Gary Floweree of West Columbia and Chelsea Fielden of West Columbia.
Amy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Floweree and Jack Mann.

Funeral services will be held at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. with a burial ceremony immediately following at Columbia Cemetery.
The viewing will be on Friday, July 24, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home with Ernie Hutchings officiating.
