Manley Tollefson, 83, Osnabrock, died Saturday, April 27, 1996, in Cavalier County Memorial Hospital, Langdon, N.D. Manley Tollefson was born June 29, 1912, in Spaulding, Sask., the son of Theodore and Anna (Knutson) Tollefson. He attended school in Hay Township No. 5, Cavalier County, N.D. He married Irene Skrogstad March 13, 1937, in Milton, N.D. They lived for two years in Fargo, where he attended Hanson Auto Trade School. They farmed in Hay Township since 1940. Irene Tollefson died Nov. 8, 1994. He is survived by sons, Virgil (Susan), Seattle, Stanford (Bonnie), Pollock Pines, Calif., and Donald, Pelican Rapids, Minn.; daughters, Janice, Mazatlan, Mexico, Ione (David) Feistamel, Osnabrock, Marlene (Doug) Wind, Wyoming, Mich., and Loretta (David) Marlowe, Bonner Springs, Kansas; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gladys Truchan, Palo Alto, Calif. He was preceded in death by daughters, Carol and Candice; and brothers, Maynard, Ordean, Merrill and Ronald.
