Graveside services for Sarah Driskell Bazemore, 97, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Forestlawn Gardens with the Rev. Rick Searles officiating. Mrs. Bazemore died Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Georgia.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Bazemore Jr. (Joanna); two daughters, Carol Russell and Joyce Osborne (Carl); six grandchildren, Carol Johnson, Joanie Osborne, Lisa Rivera (Angel), Christy Bazemore, Tom Bazemore (Ashley) and Grant Bazemore and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bazemore is preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Bazemore, son-in-law, Major Bernard Russell and grandson, Capt. Bernie Russell. Mrs. Bazemore was a founding member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Anniston.
