Leo Miller, age 86, of East Spruce Street in West, passed away Monday morning, November 12, 1990 at his residence.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Miller Was born December 7, 1903 near Leroy, the son of Paul C. and Mary Miller. He lived in West most of his life. He worked in the West Textile Mill for 40 years and West Rest Haven Nursing Home for 20 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council No. 2305 and St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Whitfield of Itasca, and Mrs. Louise Duncan and Mrs. Helen Smith, both of West; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bill Miller Jim Miller, Roger Miller, Robert Miller, Jerry Miller and Patrick Miller.

Memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association or to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.

Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
