She was born Sept. 10, 1900, in Oklahoma Territory, Okla., the daughter of Josiah and Isabelle Dobkins. She moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in January 1996.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of the First Christian Church and Navy Mothers.
She married Joseph Roy Cooper on April 2, 1920. He died July 23, 1963. Mrs. Cooper also was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen Cosman and Donna Matt, and two sons, Roy Dale Cooper and Leland Gale Cooper.
Survivors include a son, Gerald J. Cooper, Topeka; a daughter, Geraldine J. Robbins, Bellevue, Neb.; a sister, Eleanor Wilson, Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Kinsley Mortuary Chapel in Marysville.
Burial will be at the Marysville Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to First Christian Church and sent in care of the mortuary.
