William Joel Burns was born in Mountian View Arkansas to Andrew Jackson Burns and Mary Margaret Sylvania Foster. He was the oldest of fourteen children. The family moved to Williamson county Texas from Arkansas in the late 1880's. In 1899 he married Susie Jones. One son was born to this union. Early in 1900 the marriage ended and Delover was raised by his mother who remarried Clyde Ford and raise her sons in central Texas. In 1905 he married Viola Garrett the couple had one son, Joseph Henry Burns was raised in Williamson county. William Joel Burns was preceeded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson and Mary Margaret Sylvania Burns and his siblings James, Hulda Naomi, John Henry, Mary Ann, Burda Elizabeth, Nellie Jane, Josie May, and Winnie Essie. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Viola, his sons, Delover and Joseph Henry, his siblings Emily Frances, Julia Levada, Andrew Thomas, Sepha Ada, and Martha Melvina. Also, grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.
