Patti was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Patti sincerely enjoyed a life of service to her family, her church and her community. She took great pride in her years at the Post Exchange while Loyd was overseas during WWII. She was active in the North Broadway PTA, a Cub Scout den mother and a Girl Scout leader. She worked at Hallmark for 19 years and many will remember her from the Corner Pharmacy, where
she worked for almost 20 years. After retirement she volunteered at the museum, library and Cushing Hospital.

Her love for life always kept her involved. She ran her first" Race for the Cure" in Lubbock in 1997, placing third in her age group. Her last race was the "Kansas City Race for the Cure" in 2007 at the age of 84.

Visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00P.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:30A.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Very Reverend

The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice of Kansas City for the wonderful care given to Mother in her last two months. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or
St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
