Ivan Burton Threet, 59, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home here early last Thursday morning.

Funeral services were held Monday from the LDS Stake House in Lovell with Bishop Christiansen officiating. Burial was in the Lovell cemetery with the military color guard of the Lovell VFW in charge. Adams Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Threet was born on Aug 9, 1919 in Lovell, grew up there, and was graduated from the Lovell high school in 1938. He attended Brigham Young University, and had been a heavy equipment operator most of his life, working in Alaska, Okinawa, Montana and Wyoming.

In 1958, he was married in Billings to Ila M. Toman and, for the past 10 years had made his home in Buffalo.

He is survuved by his widow, Ila of Buffalo; a stepson, Ray Tolman of Buffalo; two sisters Evelyn Dalin of Greybull and Helen White of Lovell; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
