Henry Dale Brumfield, 55, died Friday at 11:30 p.m. at his home, 1316 East Main Street. Mr. Brumfield has been sick for two years.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the home with Rev. W. E. McGilvrey of Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in River View Cemetery.
Mr. Brumfield is survived by his wife, Violetta D. Brumfield and five children, Henry D. Brumfield Jr., of Waynesboro; Mrs. J. R. Layne, of Fishersville; James Brumfield, of Waynesboro; Miss Bettie Brumfield, of Waynesboro; and Dennie G. Brumfield, of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, J. H. Brumfield, of Christianburg; and R. B. Brumfield of Christiansburg; and three sisters, Mrs. M. H. Kent of Princeton, W. Va.; Mrs. G. W. Eddy, of Princeton, W. Va.; and Mrs. B. J. Albert, of Bedford.
