DEATHS: MRS. PEARL HARTWIG--Mrs. Pearl Hartwig, wife of Charles B. Hartwig of Macon, died at 1:20 o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary's hospital. She was forty-four years old last March. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Hartwig's maiden name was Pearl Travis. She was born In Christian county Mar. 10, 1887. She and Charles B. Hartwig were married in August, 1906 She was well known In Decatur, where she resided for a number of years. She was a member of the Methodist church In Macon. She is survived by her husband and three children: Paul Leslie Hartwig and Donald and Darrell Haitwig. The latter are twins. She also leaves her parents Mr and Mrs. Allen Travis of Decatur and the following sisters and brothers-Mrs. George Hartwig, Decatur; Mrs Harold Ash, Hillsboro; Mrs Everett Moore, Decatur; Mrs Edward Ray, Muskegon. Mich.; Harold Travis, St. Louis; Mrs David Hull and Arthur and Walter Travis, Decatur. The body was taken to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home.
