Donald Eugene Hartwig, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011, in his home surrounded by his family, and left this world for a better place.
Masonic services will be followed by funeral services, Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Sangamon County Honor Guard.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Virginia of Decatur, IL; daughters Tonya (Robert) Donnelly of Zionsville, IN, Linda (John) Conrath of Orland Park, IL; and son Thomas (Marita) Hartwig of Chatham, IL.
