5/23/1930 Tulsa School Girl Dies in Car Crash (Friday)
Tulsa, May 22—Miss Frances Jordan, 17 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Jordan, was injured fatally late Thursday in an automobile crash on the Sapulpa highway. She died in a Tulsa hospital shortly after the accident.
The girl, a Tulsa highschool student, was riding in a car driven by Cico Morro, 16 years old, which careened into a parked truck when sidescraped by a passing machine which did not stop. The girls' jugular vein was severed by windshield glass.
Morrow and two other occupants of the car escaped uninjured.
