Della Mae Crites, a long time resident of Springdale, gracefully passed away at home with her family at her side, on Saturday, July 24, 2010. She was born June 2, 1923 in
Muskogee, Oklahoma to Howell Sterling and Eunice Mae Paris Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph t. Crites and her two sons John H. Crites and Ralph "Ted" Crites, Jr.
Della and Ralph touched many lives as the owners of the Springdale Roller Rink and the Starlight Roller Rink, in Sapulpa, for several years.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Crites Warford and husband Fred of Springdale; daughter in law Peggy Langston Crites of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, daughter in law Janell Crites of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Julie Crites Barnes and husband Ric of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Polly Crites Sneed and husband Tom of Bolivar, Missouri, Lisa Warford Henderson and husband Richie of Springdale, Cathy Crites Robertson and husband Ken of Springdale, Teresa Warford Lawson of Springdale, Nicole Crites Morrall and husband Kurt of Rogers, Adam Crites and wife Sarah Miller Crites of Springdale; and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services was Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Miller officiating.
Burial was in the Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Adam Crites, Rick Barnes, Tom Sneed, Richie Henderson, Ken Robertson and Kurt Morrall. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Warford and Jimmy Don Warford.[ Thank you L. Burns for the information:
