Mrs. Mary Eliza Arnold, 75 years of age, died at 5:10 Sunday afternoon at King's Daughters' Hospital. Mrs. Arnold had been in declining health for several years and fell Friday evening breaking her hip.
She leaves her husband, Clarence D. Arnold, and the following children, Mrs. Minnie Wagner, Walter C. Arnold, all of Waynesboro; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and three brothers, Chris Pleasants of Oklahoma, Edward of Fishersville, and Fred of Augusta County.
The funeral will be conducted from the Etter Funeral Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Harry C. Hubbard of the Baptist Church.
The following will serve as pallbearers: C. H. Lovegrove Sr., Billy Rhodes, George Ferguson, Charles Plumb, Charles Carroll and "Red" Keney.
