Dorothy A. Cook, 65, Ohio City , Ohio , died at 7:07 a.m. Wednesday in Adams county
Memorial Hospital after having been in failing health for several years.
She was born on Augus 30, 1929 in Adams County to Arthur and Freeda Jewell Irwin.
Her father is deceased; her mother lives in Decatur . She married Dale D. Cook on October
20, 1949; he also survives.
She was an employee of Decatur 's Pace Arrow motor home plant, the former Bag Service firm here, and Central Soya in Decatur .
Other survivors are a son, David L. Cook, Wren, Ohio; a brother, Steven Irwin, Decatur; eight sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Sally) Ross, Ohio City; Peggy Hinkle, Bellefountaine, Ohio; and Mrs. Kermit (Daisy) Garner, Mrs. Gary (Marge) Ross, Mrs. Michael (Kate) McGill, Mrs. Paul (Jane) Lengerich, Mrs. Jim (Jackie) Haviland, and Mrs. Ervin (Barb) Ross, all of Decatur; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Two brothers are deceased; Jim and Mike Irwin.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur , with burial in Decatur Cemetery . Visiting hours are today until 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the Wren, Ohio Fire Department or Wren's Emergency Medical Service.
