John, 35 & Anna, 31
children Clarance, 10; Philip, 9; Alvin, 7; Lilian, 5; Ida, 3; Elmer, 2; and baby Hellen, 6 months old.

In 1920, there were five extra children here: Harvey, Esther, Irene, Marie, and Leona. The family had moved to St. Joseph county. According to this census, Anna's parents were both immigrants from Switzerland.

There were two weddings in the 1920s: Philip married Edna Barnhart in 1925, and Alvin married her sister Edith in '27.
