Clara M. Pendleton, 80, passed away at the North Big Horn Hospital on Wednesday evening, May 21st, after an illness of five days. She was born October 14, 1894 in Bennington, Idaho to Jacob F. and Clara Tippetts McArthur.

She is retired from the upholstery business. She married Frank C. Pendleton April 18, 1916 in St. Anthony, Idaho. Her husband preceded her in death.

She is survived by son, Chase Pendleton of Garden Grove, California; daughter, Leola P. Allen of Lovell; five brothers, Farmham McArthur of Lovell, Evan McArthur of Billings, Montana, John Wesley McArthur of Provo, Utah, Heber McArthur of Lovell, and Ervin McArthur of Lovell; four sisters, Martha Ann Gorbett of Garden Grove, California, Minnette Earl of Salt Lake City, Utah, Legene Asay of Lovell, and Leah Leona Burnett of Salt Lake City, Utah; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Clara has resided in Lovell since 1917 and is a member of the L.D.S. Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 26, 1975 at the Lovell L.D.S. Stake Center under the direction of Bishop Brownie Brown. Interment will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
