Aloizia arrived in the USA in 1901 from Slovenia and married Vincent Machek in 1902. As well as raising 3 children, she also owned and operated a movie theater and an ice cream parlour in DePue, Illinois. After the death of her husband she moved to Fontana, California in 1950 and again opened up her own business. A woman ahead of her time. A lady that was strong and loving and who once went to Hollywood to meet Mary Pickford because she had once shown the actress's movies in her theater. A lady loved by all who knew her.
