Robert Lee is my 4th great-grandfather. Many people show his middle initial as "E" but I've not seen any proof of this. If you have documentation for this middle initial of "E", please contact me. (Joy Russell)

Robert Lee, Sr. was born ca 1765 and died between 1830 and 1840 in Madison County, Arkansas. Several early narratives of the family say that both he and his wife, Lucy WEAVER Lee, are buried here. Lucy Lee, wife of Robert, filed homestead papers in 1840 which establishes that Robert was deceased at that time.
